For “Feeding the Beast,” for instance, with Alex Killough, she arranged a closed-circuit feed of what was happening on the stove in the kitchen, which then played on the television in the living room. “Meanwhile, the smells were wafting into the living room from the kitchen, we’re preparing nine courses and each course came out with Dixie cups, we passed them around, and it was all color-coordinated with the walls we painted throughout the apartment. It was a very happy thing.”
